Puerto Rico Senator and Businessman Charged in Bribery Scheme

Puerto Rico Senator Hector Martinez Maldonado and Juan Bravo Fernandez, the former president of one of the largest private security firms in Puerto Rico, were indicted for their alleged roles in a bribery scheme involving legislation beneficial to Bravo Fernandez' business.



Michigan Clinic Owner, Vice President Guilty in $23 Million Medicare Fraud Scheme

Bernice Brown, the owner and president of Wayne County Therapeutic Inc. (WCT) in Livonia, Michigan, and Daniel Smorynski, the vice president of WCT, were convicted by a federal jury for their roles in a $23 million Medicare fraud scheme.
