Madhatta Haipe, a citizen of the Philippines and founding member of Al-Harakat Al-Islamiyyah, also known as the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG), pleaded guilty to four counts of hostage taking in connection with the 1995 abduction of 16 people, including four U.S. citizens, in the Philippines.

Leon Pullen, 32, of Foley, Missouri, pleaded guilty to civil rights violations stemming from several incidents where he sexually assaulted and stole money from women. Pullen was a police officer employed by the Uplands Park Police Department in suburban St. Louis.

The subject stuffed the money into his pants pocket then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man was last seen running from the southeast corner of the bank. This is the city’s thirteenth bank robbery of the year.

Hamden Woman Who Made False Claims to Medicare and Medicaid Is Sentenced

Stacey Lee Williams, 38, of Hamden, was sentenced in New Haven to three years of probation, the first six months of which she must serve in home confinement, for submitting false claims to Medicare and Medicaid.
