A federal jury today convicted City of Chicago building inspector Jose Hernandez, f federal bribery charges for accepting two $1,000 cash bribes from a cooperating contractor and demanding two $2,000 cash bribes from developers to approve inspections at residential and commercial construction sites.

The Wanted by FBI Jackson page has been updated to include a poster seeking the public's assistance identifying unknown male suspects being sought for their alleged involvement in the robberies of banks in Jackson and Kosciusko, Mississippi, from 2006 through 2010. In each of these robberies, firearms were used to threaten bank employees, and the employees were bound with duct tape. The suspects have been dubbed the "Duct Tape Bandits."

Texas Fugitive Wanted for 22 Years Arrested by New York FBI

Theodore Emerson Dominguez, aka Carlos Badillo, was arrested in Brooklyn, New York by the FBI's Joint Bank Robbery Task Force. Dominguez was wanted for allegedly murdering his ex-girlfriend's new lover in Harris County, Texas in 1988 and forfeiture for skipping bond during his trial.



Massachusetts Man Sentenced for Lying to the FBI

Paul L. Plahn, of Taunton, Massachusetts, was sentenced to two years of probation after pleading guilty to making false statements to a federal agency about his supposed victimization in a mortgage fraud scheme.
