Texas Fugitive Wanted for 22 Years Arrested by New York FBI

Theodore Emerson Dominguez, aka Carlos Badillo, was arrested in Brooklyn, New York by the FBI's Joint Bank Robbery Task Force. Dominguez was wanted for allegedly murdering his ex-girlfriend's new lover in Harris County, Texas in 1988 and forfeiture for skipping bond during his trial.



Massachusetts Man Sentenced for Lying to the FBI

Paul L. Plahn, of Taunton, Massachusetts, was sentenced to two years of probation after pleading guilty to making false statements to a federal agency about his supposed victimization in a mortgage fraud scheme.



New York Doctor Charged in $5.3 Million Health Care Fraud Scheme

Boris Sachakov, M.D., was arrested in Brooklyn, New York and charged in connection with a scheme to defraud Medicare and numerous other health care benefit programs of at least $3.5 million.



Executive Sentenced in New York in $23 Million Real Estate Fraud Scheme

William B. Foster, the former owner, president, and CEO of Cobalt Financial, Inc., was sentenced in Manhattan federal court to three years in prison on charges stemming from a fraud scheme that raised more than $23 million from over 250 investors in private placement real estate offerings.



Connecticut Man Charged with Sending Anthrax Hoax and Bomb Threat Letters

Roland Prejean, also known as Gary Joseph Gravelle, recently residing in Thomaston and Morris, Connecticut, was charged in connection with allegedly sending more than 50 anthrax hoax and bomb threat letters to private individuals, post offices, state and federal buildings, judges, and other state and federal government officials around the country.
