FBI Arrests Florida Bank Robber and Seeks Accomplice

Kelvin Gibson, age 30, was arrested on Friday, June 25, 2010 in Dania Beach, Florida by the FBI. Gibson has been charged with robbing Wachovia Bank in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The FBI is now seeking information regarding his accomplice who has not yet been apprehended.



Technip S.A. to Pay $240 Million Criminal Penalty

The global engineering company has agreed to pay a $240 million criminal penalty to resolve charges related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act for its participation in a decade-long scheme to bribe Nigerian government officials.



Former Nassau County Legislator Sentenced for Tax Crimes

Roger Corbin pleaded guilty earlier this year to all seven counts of a superseding indictment, which charged him with tax evasion and filing false federal tax returns for the years 2005, 2006, and 2007, and making false statements to Special Agents of the FBI and the IRS.
