Miami Beach, Florida resident Nevin Shapiro, former owner and chief executive officer of Capitol Investments USA Inc., was indicted in Newark, New Jersey for allegedly overseeing an $880 million Ponzi scheme linked to his purported wholesale grocery distribution business.
