California Woman Pleads Guilty to Sexual Exploitation of Minors

Jennifer Lynn Thurman, of Porterville, California, pled guilty to four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, admitting that in 2007, she video-recorded her then-boyfriend Steven Arthur sexually molesting four minors in her residence after administering the tranquilizer Ativan to the minors by placing it in Oreo cookies or drinks that they gave to the minors.



California Gang Member Pleads Guilty to Conspiring to Traffic Cocaine

Nuestra Familia gang member Bismark Martin Ocampo, of San Francisco, California, pled guilty to conspiring to distribute cocaine. The plea agreement calls for a sentence of 28 years in federal prison.



Minnesota Man Sentenced for Role in $3.7 Billion Ponzi Scheme

Michael Catain, of Shorewood, Minnesota, who laundered money for businessman Tom Petters, was sentenced to 90 months in prison for his role in Petters' $3.7 billion Ponzi scheme.



Illinois Man Sentenced for Swindling 75 Victims in $28 Million Ponzi Scheme

Matthew Scott, of Elmhurst, Illinois, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for defrauding 75 victims, many of whom lost their retirement funds and life savings, in connection with his operation of a $28 million Ponzi scheme.



Former IBM Senior Vice President Sentenced in New York in Insider Trading Case

Massachusetts Man Indicted for Child Pornography Offense

Shalin Bhavsar, of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, was indicted in connection with allegedly purchasing 30-day subscriptions to six websites that contained images of child pornography.



Oregon Man Sentenced to 25 Years for Producing Child Pornography

Former golf instructor Rodney Mead Pelling, of Newberg, Oregon, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for traveling with a 12-year-old girl, creating numerous sexually explicit images of the minor both at his residence in Yamhill County and at hotels in various counties throughout Oregon.



Virginia Bloods Gang Member Sentenced to 50 Years in Prison

Ten Charged in Superseding Indictment with Racketeering and Narcotics Offenses

Texas Man Charged with Using Rodeo Act to Sexually Assault Children

Rodney Ray Hayes, who had a professional rodeo act which was based out of Linden, Texas and had children under the age of 18 performing and traveling with him, was indicted on four counts of transporting minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.
