Mother and Daughter Plead Guilty in Idaho to Defrauding Non-Profit

Bobbi A. George, of Middleton, Idaho, pled guilty to wire fraud as a result of her involvement in the misappropriation of $177,000 from the Port of Hope, a non-profit entity which operates drug and alcohol treatment centers throughout Idaho. Her mother, Connie Stills, also of Middleton, admitted her role in the scheme and pled guilty in September 2010 to mail fraud by embezzling from Port of Hope approximately $1.3 million and filing false tax returns.



Army Contracting Officer Pleads Guilty in Colorado to Bribery Related to Contracts

U.S. Army Major Roderick D. Sanchez, of Pueblo, Colorado, who was deployed overseas at various times in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait as a contracting officer, pled guilty to bribery for accepting money and items of value in return for being influenced in the awarding of Army contracts.



Alabama Man Charged with Mailing Hoax Anthrax Letters

Donald Perry Parks, of Toney, Alabama, was indicted for mailing hoax anthrax letters in September to political offices in Homewood, Alabama and Washington, D.C. and to an insurance office in Nebraska.



California Patient Recruiter Sentenced for Medicare Fraud Scheme

James Roland Fuquay, a Los Angeles-area patient recruiter who sold the personal information of Medicare beneficiaries from San Diego and Los Angeles to fraudulent Los Angeles medical clinics and durable medical equipment companies, was sentenced to 21 months in prison in connection with a scheme to defraud Medicare.



Texas Patient Recruiter Pleads Guilty in $5.2 Million Medicare Fraud Scheme

Sammie Wilson, a patient recruiter for a Houston-based home health care company, pled guilty in connection with a $5.2 million Medicare fraud scheme.

David Michael Hall, of Corpus Christi, Texas, who is under federal indictment for escape from a federal halfway house, was indicted on additional charges of robbing two banks.

Edward Jorodge Gladney, of Houston, Texas, was indicted on four counts of producing child pornography and one count each of distributing, advertising, and possessing child pornography.



Texas Man Indicted $2.76 Million Health Care Fraud Scheme

Birdie Leroy Revis, of Houston, Texas, was charged with conspiracy to commit health care fraud and health care fraud violations arising from a scheme to defraud Medicare of more than $2.76 million.



Arkansas Man Sentenced in Child Pornography Case

William John Burton, of Monticello, Arkansas, was sentenced to 84 months in prison for possession of child pornography.
