Texas Man Sentenced to More Than 17 Years on Child Pornography Charge

Jason Andrew Watkins, of Grand Prairie, Texas, was sentenced to 17.5 years in federal prison for receiving child pornography. More than 190 images and 20 videos of child pornography were found on Watkins' computers and other media.



Texas Man Pleads Guilty to Child Pornography Charges

James Cagle, of Grand Prairie, Texas, pled guilty to one count of transporting and shipping child pornography. Cagle admitted that he received and possessed more than 600 videos and images of child pornography.



Texas Pastor Sentenced on Child Pornography Charge

Dean Richard Tarkington, of Lubbock, Texas, a former pastor at a local church, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to attempted possession of child pornography. Tarkington had secretly engaged in sex chat and phone sex with young women and teenage girls on the Internet and encouraged them to send him pornographic images of themselves.



Massachusetts Man Convicted of Threatening to Assault a Federal Official

Jamaican National Sentenced in Rhode Island for Serial Armed Bank Robbery

Dwayne, K. Lewis, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison in connection with his commission of armed bank robberies in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York. Lewis, a Jamaican national, faces a deportation hearing after completing his prison sentence.

Accountant for Former Arizona Congressman Guilty of Embezzling Insurance Premiums

Dwayne Lequire, of Elgin, Arizona, an accountant for an insurance agency owner by former Arizona congressman Richard Renzi, was found guilty of eight counts of embezzling insurance premiums and one count of conspiracy in connection with embezzling $796,000 of insurance premiums held in trust.



Bureau of Prisons Corrections Officer Convicted in Florida on Civil Rights Charges

Minnesota Special Education Teacher Pleads Guilty to Child Pornography Charges

Sharon Michelle Thomas, of Otsego, Minnesota, pled guilty to participating in a mortgage fraud scheme that resulted in a $400,000 loss to several mortgage loan lenders.



Maryland Accountant Sentenced for Defrauding Client While Awaiting Trial

Former accountant Wilkins McNair, of Ellicott City, Maryland, was sentenced to 70 months in prison for wire fraud and witness tampering in connection with a scheme to defraud a client of nearly $1 million. McNair conducted this scheme while awaiting trial on other federal fraud charges.



Virginia Volleyball Referee Sentenced for Attempted Enticement of a Minor

Former volleyball referee and coach Richard L. Rockett, Jr., of Alexandria, Virginia, was sentenced to 121 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for attempting to entice a person he believed to a 13-year-old girl to engage in criminal sexual activity.



Virginia MS-13 Member Sentenced to 27 Years in Prison for Role in Murder of Pimp

MS-13 member Eris Ramon Arguera, of Alexandria, Virginia, was sentenced to 27 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for his role in the murder of a pimp while robbing the pimp and a prostitute in Alexandria on July 29, 2009.



Connecticut Man Sentenced for Distributing PCP

Darryl Lewis, of New Haven, Connecticut,was sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, between 400 and 700 grams or more of liquid phencyclidine, also known as PCP.



Two Colorado Men Plead Guilty in Connection with Mortgage Fraud Scheme

Shawn R. Tieskotter, of Greenwood Village, Colorado, and Craig D. Patterson, of Littleton, Colorado, each pled guilty to one count of mail fraud, admitting that they knowingly executed and attempted to execute a scheme to defraud various financial institutions as well as commercial mortgage lenders in connection with residential mortgage loan applications relating to 13 properties in the Denver area.



Operators of Colorado Medical Center Indicted for Health Care Fraud

West Virginia Man Pleads Guilty to Interstate Travel to Engage in Sex with a Toddler

Two Men Sentenced in Kentucky for Distributing Crack Cocaine
