New Jersey Man Pleads Guilty to Threatening Employees of Latino Civil Rights Organizations

The Justice Department announced today that Vincent Johnson of Brick, N.J., who went by the internet pseudonym "Devilfish," pleaded guilty in federal court in Trenton, N.J., to multiple charges related to a series of threatening communications he sent to employees of five civil rights organizations that work to improve opportunities for, and challenge discrimination against, Latinos in the United States.



Savage Woman Charged with Assisting in Mortgage Fraud Scheme

Zachary Adam Chesser, 20, of Fairfax County, Va., pleaded guilty today before U.S. District Court Judge Liam O’Grady to a three-count criminal information that included charges of communicating threats against the writers of the South Park television show, soliciting violent jihadists to desensitize law enforcement, and attempting to provide material support to Al-Shabaab, a designated foreign terrorist organization.

Engelhardt to over ten years (126 months) for his role in a conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute one kilogram or more of heroin and five kilograms or more of cocaine.

Palm Beach County Woman Sentenced on Charges of Forced Labor, Alien Smuggling

Veronica Martinez, of Palm Beach County, was sentenced today on charges of forced labor and alien smuggling. U.S. District Court Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks sentenced Martinez to 87 months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release.



Homestead Man Arrested and Charged in Two Bank Robberies

Alexis Fuentes, 39, of Homestead, was arrested without incident yesterday evening by the South Florida Violent Crimes Task Force in connection with two bank robberies. This morning, Price was charged in a criminal complaint with bank robbery, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2113(a).

Serial Bank Robber Sentenced to 57 Months in Federal Prison

Michael Yanni, 27, of Phoenix, and formerly of Scottsdale, Ariz., was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Judge Roslyn O. Silver to serve 57 months in federal prison and to pay more than $20,000 in restitution for robbing banks in Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Carefree since 2006.
