Armed Bank Robber Sentenced 10 Years in Prison

U.S. District Judge Benson E. Legg sentenced Thurston Sanders, age 58, of Lanham, Maryland, today to 10 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release for armed bank robbery and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.



Two Miami Corporations Indicted for Health Care Fraud Scheme

Two Miami health care companies and four owners and senior managers of the companies were indicted today for their alleged participation in a fraud scheme involving approximately $200 million in Medicare billing for purported mental health services.

Columbia Parks and Recreation Employee Indicted for Illegal Payments

Damon McDuffie, age 34, of Columbia, South Carolina, was charged in a 2-count Indictment arising from the solicitation and receipt of illegal payments from contractors in his position as an employee of the City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Division.



Bishopville Man Charged with Embezzlement
