Seeking Information in Connection with the Kidnapping and Murder of 12-Year-Old Girl

The FBI is seeking information on Thomas Steven Sanders, who has been charged in Louisiana with the abduction of 12-year-old Lexis Roberts, whose skeletal remains were discovered on October 8, 2010 in a wooded area north of Harrisonburg, Louisiana. On September 3, 2010, Sanders was captured on film purchasing ammunition at a Wal-Mart in Las Vegas. The forensic anthropologist in this case reported that Lexis suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The ammunition Sanders purchased was consistent with the caliber weapon used during the homicide.
